Go back in time and enrich yourself with the rich history of Söğüt… Walk in the footsteps of our great hero Ertuğrul Gazi. For fans of Netflix’s hit series Ertuğrul, this is a must: Resurrection is considered to be on the same level as Game of Thrones.
Join us as we travel back to a long-forgotten time and bring this important chapter of Ottoman history to life.
We will set off at the first light of the morning and after a few hours of driving, the first stop will be for a delicious Turkish breakfast on the banks of the Sakarya River. Passing through the city centre of Bilecik, you will see the spiritual founder of the Ottoman Empire, Seyh Edebali, his daughter Bala Hatun, Orhangazi Mosque and the Ottoman History Strip Museum and learn about these periods with a guide. You can visit the district of Söğüt, the district of Bilecik, where the kayı clan is located, where Ertuğrul Bey’s tomb, his wife Halime Hatun and his Alps are located, and you can pray and show your respect. You can shop in the surrounding bazaar, wear an alpine costume and take a photo.
